This is another government institution filled with abuse, incompetence, and a lack of accountability! You can't be fired, because your in the government buddy system, or Union, so nothing ever changes! It's the only system I know where people can get bonuses for indirectly killing other people! Privately, so much money would be lost with customers going to competitors, that heads would roll! My nephew who has been out of Afganistan for some time now, can't get the care he has needed either! I have had to treat him for free behind closed doors!!! When will we start treating our soldiers with respect and dignity, after we throw them into wars that politicians can't agree on? The VA is another governmental monopoly(VA Healthcare) that doesn't work! The congress keeps throwing our hard earned Tax Dollars at it without fixing it, but without competition to force accountability, it will continue to fail! Just Like the public school system!
