Symptoms for the disease don't appear until after a person has had the virus 2-21 days and the average fatality rate for those who get the virus is around 50%. According to the World Health Organization's website "[t]he current outbreak in west Africa, (first cases notified in March 2014), is the largest and most complex Ebola outbreak since the Ebola virus was first discovered in 1976. There have been more cases and deaths in this outbreak than all others combined." This would be a common sense protocol. It is foolish to think that our medical system could not be overwhelmed, also. Each infected person can have up to 100 that he/she potentially infects. With a recorded 1 in 5 medical workers getting it.....it is more contagious than they are reporting. The southern border MUST be closed!
