As my representative, a position in which you swore to uphold the constitution, it is larcenous that you would consider allowing this treaty to be ratified. Even for it to sit idle in the senate. The treaty has too many holes in it to provide even a modestly positive outcome, and will not affect countries who the world is most at risk from. Not to mention the fact that governments, which are FAR in excess of private organizations for proliferation, are held unaccountable. Do we really expect that China or Russia, who have unilaterally STOLE United States military secrets, funded nuclear programs in places such as Iran, and given TRUE military arms (tanks, missiles, etc..) to enemies around the globe will be more responsible then say IMI who already have to comply with many international rules and regulations? Allowing a treaty like this, which would in effect place its purposes on par with the 2nd amendment, is treachery at best. Even if you have no love guns or the right of US citizens to them, you have an OBLIGATION to uphold ALL rights - not just the ones you favor. Placing the American public's rights at the hands of a corrupt organization such as the UN, who has stolen COUNTLESS millions from US tax payers with programs such as "oil for food" and "world food". It is nearly impossible to even tally its budget, has corrupt politicians continue to siphon resources for their own purposes vice the good of the world. What makes the US a great nation is our discourse for debate and our adherence, no matter what, to a set of principles outlined in our constitution. Allowing a treaty like this to infringe on our rights, or ANY treaty (if this was not about guns but enforcing Sharia law in the US - a position that would place women in Senatorial positions in a burka and subjugated by men - would you be as eager to sign it and infringe on the 19th amendment? I think not..) that infringes on our rights is WRONG. I urge you to carefully think your position on this and put aside your PERSONAL views on the topic. Ratifying this treaty could have dire consequences in this country that I feel none of us want to explore.REPORT COMMENTS

We the people did not and never have sent the message that our senators should or given them permission to take away our gun rights in any way including but not limited to signing this treaty. Neither our election of our senators nor any other action of the peoples' ever gave the Us Senate the right to take away our gun rights. They may be able to do it constitutionally in the sense that they have the power t ratify treaties but that does not mean that they have th right to ignore the will of the people and ratify any treaty they feel like ratifying. Constitutionally they have that right but morally they don't. Any senator who ratifies this treat or signs away our gun rights in any other way risks loosing their office, should be charged o and convicted of treason, should loose their American citizenship, and displays a deficiency in their patriotic spirit.REPORT COMMENTS

Anyone supporting this treaty or any similar one is clearly guilty of treason whether through stupidity, ignorance, or evil intent and has no idea of the real genesis of our freedoms to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. These people are cowards and not fit to enjoy the benefits of being American citizens. No circumvention by any direct or indirect means of our Second Amendment should ever be allowed or accepted, and any attempts to restrict or limit the Second Amendment should always be met by intensely determined and perpetual resistance. Preserve our Second Amendment!!! Never allow any entity external to the USA dictate our policy in world affairs or especially in domestic affairs including the anti-American idiots at the UN!!!REPORT COMMENTS
