When I first started teaching in 1981, shotguns and rifles when in the back windows of vehicles, both students and teacher, to go hunting or shooting after school That era has pasted, sadly, forever. This is exactly what the NRA presented right after Sandy Hill shooting yet nothing has been accomplished by the folks in Washington. Until we address the mental health issues in this country which so many sweep under the rug, along with video and rap music content, broken homes and peer pressure these sad events will continue. Let's do something NOW, not later. Parents are afraid to send their kids to our public schools today. Very sad in America.
