The IRS is the agency for collecting our Tax's, not igniting Tax Laws. That should go through the Congress. I understand that for non-profit status, there would be guide lines to obtain this. Lois Lerner (and the IRS employees all) take an oath of office, (all these persons are Public Servants of the People). When Ms Lerner was summons before Congress, then first speaks on the topic at hand, which violates her wrights, to then (she has audacity) to take the Fifth Amendment. She refused to resign, gets a bonus and continues to get paid. If anyone else, of we The People had done this, we would be subject to the full weight of the law. But, no, to many times the people who work for the government, appointed or voted, keep getting away with violating the Laws of the Land. It is time some of these Congressmen and Senators, that site on these hearing committees showed some back bone to make sure that everyone, including themselves follows the Law. It is against the Constitution of this great country, to target anyone or group for it believes. How dear the IRS assume it has the wright to even consider bill 134417-13, like all these government departments they want to tell We THE PEOPLE what to do, even if it breaks the Law of this Great Nation. As we say in the U.K they are all running a muck. I intend to exercise my constitutional wrights and speak my mind, always with respect of the office held. Sadly we have not had many truly great Statesmen, just a lot of Politicians, the two are worlds apart. Sir Winston Churchill and Ronald Reagan were true Statesmen. I urged my representative to vote against Bill 124417-13. Thank you

Why is this new rule being proposed by the IRS now? Since the IRS is currently under investigation for how they have previously applied their rules, no new IRS rules should be either proposed or enacted until we know that the enforcement of prior IRS rules and regulations have been applied fairly and equally for all organizations. This has not yet been determined. If the lRS rule regarding c-4 organizations needs to be changed; this should be enacted through law by congress, not through discretionary, unconstitutional governmental imposed regulations. These proposed new rules may be a violation of the 1st Amendment. They may also be discriminatory in nature. Please take action to prevent these rules from being implemented.

This all smacks of the "thought police" in the novel "l984". Must we only believe what they want us to believe? No way!

If the IRS can target groups whose philosophy differs from what this administration thins is right, it is a complete affront to the 1st Amendment & free speech.

I oppose the proposed regulation 134417-13 as I consider it an unconstitutional suppression of free speech. It is a shame our political system has descended into the condition feared by our founders, a bloated, dysfunctional, oppressive bureaucracy.

The new rules that are proposed by the IRS are a violation of the 1st Amendment. And since it would appear to be aimed only at conservative groups, it would be discrimitory as well. Anyone who supports a person's ability to speak out against a political position as a member of a group would be affected. Right now it will affect conservative groups but in the future, it could very well be imposed on liberal groups as well. I am asking you as a politician to prevent these rules from being implemented.
