The Obama socialized medicine law should DEFINITELY apply to Congress! And yes, Congress should overrule the Personnel Office!!! Better yet, subject Congress, the President and the Supreme Court to the same rotten government health care our veterans receive!!! There MUST be a full, clean, stand-alone repeal of the Obama socialized medicine law (NO 'repeal-and-replace'!)!!! On a different topic - the government shutdown/defunding "Obamacare" issue - I can't agree with Dick Morris' political calculus. In Morris' cited poll, only 44% oppose defunding. And "government shutdown" can mean and conjure up different things with Americans answering a poll question. It is said that, in 1995, Gingrich and the Republicans were on "wrong side" of then-shutdown issue, that they caved, that they lost, that they made a mistake, etc. But after 1996 midterms, their House/Senate majorities were essentially left intact!!! No time to go into more detail, but, all things considered, GOP must pursue shutdown strategy and will only stand to gain politically if they do. Much of Morris' political advice Morris gives is the kind of advice Reagan often received - and rejected! And we all know how successful he was politically! Morris is a relatively recent convert from Dem party and is more of a "moderate" than true conservatives/tea party members, etc. With all due respect, is he possibly a mole for the Democrats/leftists?
