It is high time that those who are sent to Washington to look out for the interest of " We the People "start doing their job. They should look at all exemptions and foreign aid giveaways and use the brains God gave them! We cannot continue to allow the carnival to go on---We are broke!REPORT COMMENTS

Who got the payoff for allowing the NFL to be exempt. They are trying to take away exempt status from churches, why not sports as well?REPORT COMMENTS

Of all the nerve! Letting the NFL off of paying taxes while ordinary citizens "pay through the nose" is criminal. Our government is running after every dollar it can get--take NFL's.REPORT COMMENTS

I never dreamed they held a tax exempt status! How ridiculous. That status must have been given to them back in the days when they were worthy of the respect, and hero worship kids had for them.REPORT COMMENTS

They make a lot of money that us poor people can't even really think of ever getting! To be Non-Profit means your not keeping the earnings for yourself and getting rich off of. It means giving back to the people! I want to start a Non- Profit church and can't b/c I don't have enough to start it. I have the foundation for the church but no money to get a tax exempt ID number. I want to give back like Jesus did, but we don't have the money for it; but yet people who play a game have all the money and are tax exempt for what? What kind of country do we live in when good people who could accually use the money can't get it, but people who have money can get as much money they want? Huh? The same thing with disability. People who need it can't get it. People who are perfectlly fine have it and are sitting pritty! They do what ever they want and can work! While people who can't do day to day things need the help to get help and can't get it b/c they don't have enough money to get the help they need! Tell me why are people who abuse the system allowed to continue to do so!? It needs to STOP!REPORT COMMENTS

It is about time. I'm not tax exempt so why should they be. Who gave them tax exempt status is the first place. DisgracefulREPORT COMMENTS
