This VA problem exemplifies what is wrong with big govt programs. Waste, fraud & no accountability. Unable to make corrections because unions & govt agencies are more interested incovering their asses than helping our Vets. This is disgusting & to wait for another report by so.e worthless beaurocrat whiles Vets suffer & die is the Apex of incompetence. The only solution is to privatize the whole VA. When will VA quit paying 258 employees full pay and benefits to do only union work - almost a million hours of “official” union time in 2011? This taxpayer money should be going to alleviate understaffing at hospitals struggling to fill jobs, and paying enormous overtime to overburdened nurses, therapists, and other workers.REPORT COMMENTS

The only real way to make the VA work for our veterans is to give it competition. To wait weeks or months for an appointment is outragous and to give bonuses to administrators who should be doing their jobs already is causing us to suffer needlessly because they want to look like they are meeting the standards. Bonuses should only be used if the administrators exceed the goals. But giving any bonuses for work that should be done and which they were hired and agreed to do is outragous.REPORT COMMENTS
