Private Career schools and colleges do a much better job of training graduates for skills that are relevant to today's job demands and marketplace. These schools are already heavily regulated by the US Dept of Education through several US approved Accrediting Groups that in turn regulate the schools . In order to qualify for accreditation these colleges must provide a minimum graduation rate of as high as 70% and Job Placement rate of 70%...many of these schools do much better than this. The large majority of these Career Colleges and Vocational Schools are family owned businesses. On the other hand Community Colleges and State Universities , ( (which are funded by taxpayer dollars) have no such graduation or job requirements therefore they enroll students ( who get student loans from DOE ) for jobs that do not exist ..if a student is lucky enough to graduate within 6 months they have to commence pay back of student loans. with no job they are often forced to go to graduate school to seek relief from payments ( taking out more student loans). When they get out of graduate school ---jobs in that field still do not exist , sad that these misguided students end up saddled with debt and underemployed or unemployed often living with their parents! Major community colleges in our home state of Tx have graduation rates in the single digits often for programs where there are no jobs. Career colleges and vocational schools train a hands on work force with skills required for knowledge and technical workers in IT, Healthcare , hospitality , mechanics, etc...these are the jobs that are the very foundation of our national economy and essential to our nation's future! The schools often partner with local employers to offer externships at the employers workplace ...many times the employer hires the extern upon graduation as they have attained on the job workplace experience. Many of the students served by these Career and Vocational schools are Non-Traditional students , they may be from low income background, unstable home life, single moms with kids to support, etc. Many are the first in their families to attend school after college ....many of these students without this type of Career training environment would be unemployed , non- productive and possible incarcerated citizens. Career oriented colleges guide the students through successful pathways with support services to enable the students to succeed , graduate, and get a job...if not the school can be closed by the government ( a very high hurdle of accountability that does not apply to community colleges, and not for profit universities and colleges). Studies have shown that most people are wired for hands on education and work, the U.S. school system still tries to put everyone in a traditional college or university box ....many other countries that realize that not all people are equipped for 4 year traditional university have leapt far ahead of the US in educating a quality and productiveJun 19th, 2014John G. from Scottsdale, AZ signed.

Why hasn't he been impeached? If he was all white (not a mulatto) or a republican he would have been impeached ages ago and would not have been reelected.REPORT COMMENTS
