Hello, I served in the Military for 4 years and got out in July of 2013. I found a full-time job and am also a full-time student. I received one GI bill payment. This government shutdown threatens further GI bill payments which were one of the main reasons I joined the Military in the first place. I'm married and me and my wife found a house after waiting 2 months for my first GI bill payment. I signed the lease and now have no idea if I can pay for it since this shutdown is going on. I signed the lease the day before the shutdown. I gave the military 4 years of my life in exchange for benefits I thought I was going to receive, and the miscalculations in congress should be of no fault to me and my American dream. I urge you to please do all you can in ending this shutdown. Thank you.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm not even a big supporter of obamacare, but i am certainly not a supporter of shutting down crucial branches of the united states government which we pay hard earned money for.
