Obama has never made an effort to create a Foreign Policy. The CW attack was a tragedy, but we do not know who the "good rebels and Bad rebels" are. I feel the main reason Obama is threatening this is to save his own*****after inserting his Foot into his mouth with his red line statement. With both Russia and Iraq backing Assad this would be a horrible waste of American blood. I have heard no plan of "what happens after?" There needs to be a plan in place. What is happening to Syria is a terrible tragedy but anything we might do will make it worse. When Assad falls, Syria will surely be run by radical Islamists and they will not show any gratitude towards us or a more benign attitude towards Israel. Obama shot of his big mouth and we definetely should not get involved in any way (other than humanitarian relief) to make this fool look good. When will Washington learn that the Middle East is a tar baby-very easy to get stuck onto and very hard to get out of.
