As a resident of Sarasota County and the fact that several of the hijackers lived and trained in our area, I want to know how many people were involved in the Sarasota cell. I also want to know who were the Saudi Arabians allowed to fly from Tampa & Lexington, Ky, (when all airports were closed and all planes grounded The first report from the FBI stated the family that abruptly left their gated community in the Sarasota area had been questioned wherever they escaped to and knew nothing re:the attacks. However the personnel that worked the gates saw the hijackers pictures in the papers and called the FBI and reported that the hijackers and several others had visited that home often. Since the area was gated, the hijackers had to show I.D. when they entered and a log was kept. By the way, the guards who notified the FBI that a log was kept and the hijackers had been there several times-- were fired. The FBI finally admitted that the hijackers had visited the gated home often but no further information has been released. It is our right to know.REPORT COMMENTS
